That would be a fittin dish for a church get together.. Give the folks a little sample of what things'll be like if they don't keep to the straight and narrow.....

Take peppers, washed, then slice into small pieces, bread them with cornmeal, then deep fry them. Very Good served with any meats.

Slice peppers in half long way. Clean out seeds and ribs. Fill each half with cream cheese dip in eggs then breading and deep fry.

My friend slices them in half, cleans the seeds and ribs out. Then she stuffs them with a cream cheese mixture and wraps a piece of bacon around them. She bakes them. I normally don't like jalapenos but I can't stop eating these.

My son-in-law taught me how to make stuffed peppers.
We use jalapeno peppers - cut the top off, clean center with ALL the seeds out - fill with cream cheese ( i use my jerky shooter with the round nozzle to fill).
You can use straight cream cheese, mix the cream chees with horsradish (or horseradish sauce) or we have mixed with salmon. Let your mind think of the possibilities. To finish we wrap in bacon, held on with a toothpick.
We normally use a rack built with washers- large enough to set the jalapenos in, and the toothpick holds them from falling thru. Weld the washers together with angle iron, pipe or I have even used cutoff railroad apikes for legs.
then put on BBQ grill or even in oven.
My son-in-law and father and grandfather have cookers built to hold 45-50 at a time.
Just size to your grill

Mark the J is pronounced H and the E's are pronounced like the e in egg not like in tree. then when you eat a hot one you say Hell-o pain-o

My wife just made stuffed peppers using sweet green & red peppers. She stuffs them with rice & ground meat then cooks them in tomato soup. They're good with Italian bread. Hal
PS: Here's a Citron in my garden my nephew is going to make preserves out it in October. Its about the size of a basketball now. My late mom made preserves from them too and we ate it on hot biscuits.
