A busy week last week! Lots of work to be done before Aug 12 start of new building . The first pictures are from Monday and then show the end of the week on Saturday. The restroom/shower building is ready for roofing and the inside walls are almost done so plumbing can begin. The end walls and the piers are poured for the building to set on. Still need to haul in fill and pack down and pour the floor for the new building. Water lines have to be dug in and hooked up and electricity hooked up. We are gaining, but still have a lot of work to do. Chris

OK, I got in a hurry and left out some information. The Antique Engine and Tractor Association in Atkinson, Ill was donated 40 acres north of Geneseo, Ill. for a permanant showgrounds. We are going to have a post and beam building raised by Trillium Dell from Knoxville, Ill in August. We have to have Restroom/shower facilities for the workers and the foundation ready to go by Aug 11. Feel free to stop by and watch the construction or pitch in and help, volunteers welcome. Be sure to come to Atkinson in Sept for our fall show. Chris

Y'all are doing good work for a great event; 48 years is a lot of success.

Glad to see that the local FFA projects will be showcased.

Thanks for sharing the photos with us.
