Thought things were going better

Well guys, guess I dodged a bullet yesterday, got the 3830 self propelled swather wobble box and stuff back on and went to mowing hay, decided that I would go in for a bit to grab a bite to eat and check the weather, while driving out of the field the lower ball joint on the truck jumped out of the steering knuckle.
good thing I was going slow and in the field.
Would probably have been a heck of a wreck at 60 going down the highway.
I guess I"m here for some reason, the man upstairs is keeping me around for something.
Thanks to all for the prayers over the past few months.

I had a tie rod end fall off right here in the driveway one time. I was backing the trailer up and heard just a little odd noise. All of a sudden she was dragging kind of hard and didn't want to steer. Got out and looked and the front wheels were toed right in. Gives ya a little chill when you ponder "what if" don't it?

I worked with a guy a long time ago that his old galaxy had that problem. He drove around for a few weeks with wire ties holding it back together.

When i was 14 we had a 41 willys jeep. I tore down the road to get the milk cows home to milk. I know i was going about 50 then stopped to open the gate to drive in the pasture. Went to take off again and the tie rod fell off. Talk about someone watching over you.

Many a year ago. The wife and I were headed outta town late one night.. 4 mile of straight smooth asphalt.
I laid the old 400 equipped Pontiac Grand Prix to the floor board. The needle just laid down over to the right and bobbed around the far side of 120. Stopped turned the corner pulled in our driveway.
That very morning we get up. Wife leaves for work, pulls out on road gets less than 100 yards down the road the left front lower ball joint breaks. The tire goes up in the fender well and the lower A frame skids on the asphalt. She was going 25 mph. Scared her good.
This my friends is the absolute truth. Mark

Going swimming - pulled into a little country store, and the tie rod dropped off of my brothers '33 Plymouth coupe. He and his buddies took the shoelaces out of my other brothers tennis shoes, tied it all back together, and went on to the swimming hole.
