In the field at 4:30 and done raking by 6:30. Tried to bale, but maybe just a touch on the green side yet?

Gonna let 'er lay another day and go back to discin'. :>(

Looks like morning is just starting to break on the horizon in the second picture.

I do a fair amount of work at night. Little cooler outside. See lots of neat things. Probably the best is the bats that go back and forth getting the bugs around the headlights, had a couple hit the loader frame more than once.

Thought she'd go fer sure yesterday. That's the tricky part with alfalfa.

Makes darned good feed; just gotta get it put up right.

You are so right Allan. It takes a lot of planning and a little luck. My son raises a small acerage for his dairy cows. It is irrigated and he wishes it would forget to rain. He can get the growth to cut every 21 days if it does not rain at cutting time. It is a rat race but can get hay with a RFV of 180-190.
