would JB 'quik' Weld adhere and hold on a hydraulic suction pipe on a small tractor? the suction pipe has NO PRESSURE, just suction return to hyd pump. the pipe has several pinholes in it and is leaking. the pipe does get warm/hot to the touch after several hours of continous use. any help is appreciated.

So long as the tube is THOROUGHLY cleaned before application (no trace of oil on the metal surface) JB weld will work just fine.

I used it to patch a couple pinholes in the oil pickup float in a Farmall H. Dropping the pan several years later found the JB Weld discolored and slightly softened but still adhered tightly.

Bob M is correct, Tube/pipe must be really
clean, use acetone or M.E.K. and blow clean
with oil free air

One trick that works for me where it would be difficult to remove the part and wash it totally free of oil. Mix up a tiny dab of the JB paste, clean a pin hole with solvent and quickly stick a match head size dab of the JB in the pinhole. do this to all leakers and let the little dabs of JB set up for 1/2 hour. Then clean the entire area free of oil and put on the large JB paste patch.
I have used this method to repair leaks in full gasoline and diesel fuel tanks with good success.
