OT: had to work today

Took the excavator to a building that the roof had collapsed. I had to peel the roof back for the abatement contractor to get the asbestos out so we can demolish the building Monday. The three workers were from south of the border. They were all driving vehicles way better than mine. Makes a guy feel great to live in this land of opportunity.

First of all, you sure they weren't leased out to some contractor?

If not, just remember Mexicans live here and do not have to pay any sort of taxes.

They live on my neighbors property free of charge, and they are able to purchase things more readily than I am. They can buy car stereos faster than I can gather to buy a birthday present for mom.

Cut the crap guys. Most of these guys pay all the normal taxes or their employers will go to jail. On top of that they pay social security taxes that you and I will be able to collect but they wont.They are for the most part the very best labor supply in this country. The majority of Americans dont want manual labor jobs that are routine such as milking cows, cleaning hotel rooms, working in slaughter houses,picking fruit and vegatables etc. Sorry to get grumpy, but I have discovered them to actually be human too. J

the legal ones may pay the same taxes problem is there arn't many legal ones out there have worked with quite a few over the years and have found most buy papers to make them look legal they pay people to transport them to differant places and most of the time a job is already set up for them thats not saying there bad people most will work there butt off for you if you treat them right have gotten many a job done ahead of schedule with them so i am out on a limb here maybe we should make it easyer for them to be legal so we can use the taxs they pay to help us with our goverment debt and not be paying to with all the benefits they get by being illegal
