The plug off the hydraulic pump is a 1/2 inch ,20 threads per inch. with a copper washer to seal it. Looking for the fitting to attach the loader oil lines. Any help. Bruce

did your loader come off of a ford thactor if not the hydrolicks will not make the losder move very fast as the pump is a low volum high pressure look into how it was connected on the preveious tractor you may want a front mounted pump system good luck. old art

It would be easy to make one on a lathe from a piece of hex stock.

Or, drill a hole in a bolt and weld a 3/8" pipe coupling to it.

Or, find an original adapter... here's one I have:

Or post over at the "N" Forum. One of the guys has found a modern "O" ring hydraulic fitting that works. I don't quite know how, since there's no counterbore or chamfer on the pump cover for the "O" ring.

any hydraulics shop can get you the correct fitting(even princess auto here in canada keeps them on the shelf) it is a #5 orb.
