FIRST OFF THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
ALTERNATORis off a 1996 chevy van i do not know which one it is i put it on my allis chalmers b with mag need to know where/how to hook up the two small wires can you tell by the picture

Depends if you're putting in with an idiot-light or an amp meter. The big (widest) terminal is the S terminal in your photo. Left to right it's S, I or F, L and P. The "L" is in the middle of the three smaller terminals, and it gets hooked throught the idiot light to IGN if that's what you want - but it will also require a 47 ohm resistor. If using an amp meter, you can run IGN to the F terminal.

I would go get a "One Wire Delco Alternator". Much easier to install, just hook up the battery wire and you're done.

It's self exciting and has an internal regulator.
