Vermeer 605k horsepower

Does anyone know what the recommended PTO horsepower requirement is for a 605k baler? I have a 4wd 82 pto h/p tractor currently working level land. Hills might be in the future! If anyone has personal stories of the 605k with twine & netwrap,I would love to hear them.
 
neighbor used to run a 605H with a 3020 JD so I say you have adequate power to bale your hay tight. GOOD BALERS!!!
 
I have pulled mine with a 966 in steep hills & when the baler was full the extra weight was very much needed to hold it on the hills.
 
I pulled a 605H for years with a 730 Case on mostly flat ground and some rolling hills. My uncle pulled one with a D17 Allis Chalmers. You have plenty of power.
 
It looks close so far. The reason I'm asking I have a low bale count '94 605K baler that I'm considering buying.

When I look at tractor pto h/p data sheet for numerous tractors, it shows the JD 3020 to have 70 pto hp, the JD 2950 to have 85 pto hp, and the 966, depending if it is an IH or Farmall, to have 91 or 100 pto hp. I feel confident that 82 pto hp can manage on the flat. The tractor weighs just shy of 6,000 lbs and is 4 wd but I want the tractor, not the baler, to be the boss on any slopes!

Anyone have personal experience with the 605k on hills with 82 pto hp or less?
 
Yeah,You can pull it,but be very careful of trying to stop or slow down going downhill with a full bale.Before I bought a real tractor I had a 200 AC pulling a 530 JD Baler and took a lil ride one day.If your gonna see a lot of different terrain Id want rear wheel weights or calcium to plant those tires good
