I HAVE FORD 2000 I THINK, HOOD IS A 2000 AND REAR END IS 2000 BUT MODEL # STAMPED ON LEFT SIDE IS 68691 AND SR# 21205 NUMBERS ARE VERRY CLEAR TO READ IT ALSO HAS SOS TRANSMISSION BECAUSE OF THE MODEL # I AM NOT SURE OF WHAT I HAVE ANY HELP
??????

Well, it seems to me that the Model # is 21205 and the s/n is 68691.
That would make it:
2**** - 134 ci gasoline or 144 ci diesel engine
*1*** - Industrial and agricultural models produced after 1963
**20 * - Utility-type w/adjustable front axle
*0**5 - Select-O-Speed w/hydraulics and single-speed (540 rpm) PTO

1962 Serial number 1001 - 11947
1963 Serial number 11948 - 38930
1964 Serial number 38931 - up

You have a 1965 2000. Built the first week of June 1965.

Now for a little advise.
You may want to call it a 1964 2000 when ordering parts. The reason for this is because they also made a 3 cylinder 2000 in 1965 and you will most likely get parts for this tractor rather than your 4 cylinder model.
In fact most people think 1964 was the last year the 4 cylinder tractor was built but that is not the case.

THANKS JOHN, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE THAT OUT MYSELF WITH MY IT MANUAL BUT I WAS THINKING THAT MODEL NUMBERS STARTED BY THE DIMOND MARK IND I HAVE SOME 600 SERIES AND PART OF THE NUMBER WAS 691 I THOUGHT IT WAS A DIFFRENT VERISION BUT COULD NOT FIGURE THE 68 PART THANKS AGAIN
