does any one have the posi lock lever in there truck I have an 89 GMC 1500 and i want one because my actuator for 4 wheel drive is getting weak looking for some testemonials
 
I have the updated actuator and harness in mine.Part stores have the kits made by Dorman.Pretty reasonable.Easy to install.

Don't know anyone around here with the posi-lock,never installed one,but installed hundreds of the electric updated style.
 
I have no experience with them, but they always get good reviews in the 4X4 magazines. I plan on getting one for my '93 Chevy when the actuator goes out. Jim
 
I have several I would like to sell. I used to have a shop and installed several. They worked really good. I have 4 or 5 that I never sold that I would sell reasonable.
 
i have one in my 91 chev. 3500 and had one in my 94 1500 that i traded and i have nothing but good to say about it. no more waiting for the front end to lock in, youll want to be carefull when engaging it so that it doesnt hammer in when you are moving. and when sitting still you may have to let it creep a little with the t-case in gear to lock it but it works great.very simple to install to the biggest problem is deciding where to put the t-handle for it. i put mine right between the t-case stick and the seat.
