Please don't fuss at me for asking stupid questions but the right brake on my John deere 40 has broken way deep in the rear end.how hard or expensive would this be to get fixed?

What model 40 and where do you live? Are you able to do any of the work yourself. Seems to me you'd have to take it apart to see what's wrong with it first. Are you saying that if it's too costly you're not going to fix it? rw

no I'M still going to fix it I just wanted know if I should con my parents into paying a little part of it. Oh and its a high crop

The brake pedal is fastened to the brake assembly with a replaceable bolt (adjustment bolt).Sometimes they break and the pedal hangs down, but it can be fixed without tearing anything apart. Not sure what your refering to,the brakes are not in the rear end.
