Found 2 more JD h tractors today.They are rolling chassies with all tin and most parts.Engines are apart,tires are junk.Also found 3 more a month ago all together,all for cheap!Aint told wife yet.Help me,please!/? Hoss {still married]

Wait to big game season. plan a trip with the guys,
the night you leave for camp bring the tractors. Park em in the driveway and go on to camp. after a week she will get used to them being there, on your return trip bring home a vase of roses and tell her how much you missed her.

or get one of your buddies to say they belong to him and your just fixing them up for him. and the payment is the first one you get running, you keep.

Well tell her there an investment, can't go wrong with buying them because they can only go up in price even if all you do is park them. My wife never says any thing about the tractors I have. #1 she knows better and #2 if she does I'll tell her its time to get rid on the goats and horses. The tractors make money but the goats and horses cost money

Saw one in nice condition sell a couple weeks ago for $2,300. Also a JD "A" sold or $2,000. WC Ohio.

I have a few of the larger IHC's, The wife even bought me a "C", so I bought her a Super A, Now buying tractors is not a real big issue. She did say the next one I come come with should have a cab,Heater, and a big air seat?????

They are an investment. Not only will they help you to complete your H, but you can also part them out if they can not be restored themselves for a profit. The possible additional $$$$ may help ease the pain a little as well.

My was all ears when a guy told me about a Case LA we went over to look at it and she all in favor of getting it. Now she holds it over my head as a waste of money. One can't win when it comes Women they just think differently.

Had the same situation! I found a little allis hd6 that i had grown up seeing sit in the weeds since i was just a little one. Finally came the day where he decided to sell it. Told the old lady and she didn't mind one bit. However...A week later I ended up buying her a new pontiac just to put some water on the fire. it worked. lol. Good luck!!!
