OT: The pathetic Detroit Lions.

Holy *rap this team sucks big time, still no wins for the season. The Loser Lions have not had a .500 season since 1999. And the Lions have never made it to the super bowl--Ever.
I love football but the Lions are a bunch of pathetic bozos. I love to watch them on TV lose week after week, it is like going to the circus and getting a good laugh.
 
There is no worse franchise than the Bengals. 2005 was nothing but Fools Gold Hope that they would become a contending team. And the funnier part is, since 2005, everyone in Bengal land was clammering for an improved defense. Now that it appears we MIGHT be on the right track defensively, the offense falls apart.

Oh well, what can you say? Go Reds! (Wait... um... nevermind!)
 
I seem to remember that they are the only one of the original NFL teams ( from the 1930's? ) that hasn't at least been to the super bowl. They are getting kind of like the cubs are in baseball.
 
I don't like correcting people but you are wrong on this one. The Bengals are worse, at least for the averages. From nfl.com, averages per game:

PTS- CIN 14 (31st) DET 16.2 (28th)
YDS- CIN 225.6 (32nd) DET 265 (28th)
PASS YDS- CIN 151.7 (30th) DET 187.3 (22nd)
RUSH YDS- CIN 73.9 (31st) DET 77.7 (30th)

CIN 0-7 DET 0-6



Its interesting if you have alook at their remaining schedule. They don't play each other:

CIN: @Hou, Jac, Phi, @Pit, Bal, @Ind, Was, @Cle, KC

DET: Was, @Chi, Jac, @Car, TB, Ten, Min, @Ind, NO, @GB

That said, I think Detroit has a better chance of going 0-16. Bengals could beat Houston, Cleveland, or Kansas City. I haven't looked up the numbers on Cleveland but they must be in the bottom 6 or 7.

I don't hear people talking about Dallas and New England much these days. Guess thats what happens when your one good player gets hurt....How about those Titans? Keep an eye on the Jaguars and Ravens. I think they'll be much better 4 or 5 weeks from now.
 
Team of lazy and fat old farts who are gauranteed a high pay wether they perform or not. Why should they bother to win?

I almost said "It could be worse - you could be a Cheifs fan", but I guess the Lions might be worse. They've already gone through 4 quarterbacks and the practice squad guy is now starting.
 
You can't win em all, and quite frankly, we have a hard time winnning any of em! ;-)
