offset high clearance

I have a 1951 Farmall Super A. It has been working my small farm for over 50 years. starting with my ganddad, my dad, and now me. it has seen better days. does any tactor manufacturer make a new tractor similar to it? Offset High clearance? I have looked a few manufacturers on the net and their HCs arent offset and they just have larger tires and an outragous price.
 
Why not just completely rebuild yours? It's what you want, it would be better and most of all Grand Dad and Dad sure would be proud
 
It's not new, but is newer: John Deere 900HC. Basically an offset John Deere 850 on stilts. Actually made by Yanmar in the late 80's and were about 23 pto hp. We have had one since new and are very happy with it. The 3pt hitch, live hydraulics, and 2-stage clutch are features the Super A probably won't have. If you can find one it might be just what you are looking for.

I know Kubota also made one around that same time, but I don't know any more about it.
 
I'll bet you can have that Farmall redone like new for a lot less than any new or newer tractor...Tried and proven ain't a bad thing..
 
Excellent question...

When my grandmother bought it, it was an upgrade from a '49 Deere B with cultivator (which I now use on my farm). At that time it was working a variety of row crops for sale at local farm markets. It still works a few acres with potatoes, onions, tomatoes, etc. Over the past 15 years we have planted apple and pear trees, so it spends some time pulling a sprayer and mower now too.

We might be the only people to ever put a snowblower on the back of one. I say that because we had to make a custom 3pt hitch mount to accomodate the offset PTO. It's still the primary tractor at my grandmother's house.
 
I saw a photo of a used Case/IH off-set high clearance for sale in Antique Power. I don't know what year it was made?
