Installing a manure auger

My dad is in the process of installing a used Badger manure auger in our barn in place of the slide that was worn out.

We basically have a rough sketch drawn on graph paper, but the scale just doesn't look right.

Sadly, the dealer my dad is working with doesn't seem to be much help as he doesn't do much as far as Badger Barn equipment goes anymore, so we don't have very clear instructions as to the measurements from the end of the auger to the concrete block the barn cleaner drive unit sits on, and some other measurements.

Anyone have any clue or done one recently? He was hoping to get the concrete mixed and poured tonight, which in no way is gonna happen so long as we're guessing on where the drive unit should sit, and whether or not we need to bust out more concrete for it to get moved back some.

If anyone would happen to have a manual for their auger or any other source for dimensions we could use, it would sure be appreciated.

So if the guy you cant get any help from find someone elsewho can arent ther any systems around to go measure you are asking advise but didnt give any model #.

There is no model # on the auger. The metal is rust, no #'s on it. My dad managed to get the concrete poured today, our neighbor who is helping and my dad did some figuring and they thnk they've got it right (lets hope).

As far as other auger systems, there really aren't many around. There was one in a barn we bought straw out of a few years back, but it's since been torn down (reason for selling the straw).

Can't think of any other local farms with an auger running to the spreader. Most are torn down, non-functioning, or still have a slide.
