Sorry, but I fail to see any humor in it at all...only heartbreak, death and destruction. You will likely be ranting on here next week about the price of fuel, Now that would be a good laugh!!

Yeah....not everyone from new orleans is a hoodlum....bet i'll bet ten bucks on a day old donut that the funny pic above has more truth than yall want to admit.....

Well I went on a disaster crew to North Louisiana after Rita. My counter part had all of his clothes and stuff stolen out of his locked truck. He would probably agree with you.

Spent a week in a hotel that had been water damaged. The refugees were not all that bad, but the bugs sure were!!!

Maybe you should go down there sometime and meet those people. I've been to Houma, Montegu, Chauvin, area on disaster trips. Most wonderful people I've met. Stuff is not a priority in their lives because they know they will eventually lose it. Life, Family and respect for each other is important to them . Maybe we all need to take some lessons from the cajons.

Well since I was born and raised in a suburb of N.O. I can tell you your picture has a lot of truth in it. But on the other hand for you to lump everyone from south La. into one group is wrong. Lot of good hard working people down here that would give you the shirt off their back if you asked nicely.

Have a nice day because mine may not be; as I sit here in a motel and look at pictures of my home on national TV as it floods or blows away.

John,

Glad you are safe on high ground. Hope the best for you, your family, your house, and your stuff.

Good luck, you and all the ones like you are in out thoughts and prayers.

Dave

Yup, pretty safe up here in Michigan too. But I've beed caught a blizzards with 60 MPH winds that makes it hard to take a breath cause it's soo cold.

I will tke a hurricane anyday over the f5 tornadoe we had up here in Iowa. At least with the hurricane you get a few days notice. Also why should our tax money be spent to rebuild and help people in New Orleans? They chose to live there just as I choose to live in Iowa. And no one will give me money or help me rebuild anything when a tornadoe or flood wrecks my farm or crops.

sunday night we made a 90 mile drive back to the Houston area from west of town. In that distance we saw 135 busses going west, when we exited I-10 another line of busses was coming, streched as far as we could see.
