Show Up At Itasca, MN This Weekend

Anybody making the trek north for this show? I saw the grounds last week for a bluegrass festival and I can't wait to see the grounds filled with old iron! You can see the headwaters of the Mississippi just down the road, too. E-mail me if you're coming.

Boy that sounds like fun. Been up there about 20years ago . Dang nice place. Camped at the park. Wish i could make it . Not alot of time now. Have fun though . Illinois is still here, nice weather how's it doing up north?

Weather is fantastic up here. I was very pleasantly surprised how the summers are quite a bit milder up here. It's only gotten above 90 one day this year and it always drops below 70 at night. I figured it might be a little cooler than IL, but man, is this ever nice! 'Course I'll be singing a new tune when things start freezing oh..about next week. ; )

And I've still gotta seed down a bunch of pasture with alfalfa and orchardgrass so it can establish before it freezes. I better get hoppin'!
 
Yup, you're running a tad late up there. But should still work.

You like race cars, the Ojibwe Road Rally will be a week later, it too runs in Itasca park & others. Based out of Bemidji. Friday evening & Staurday afternoon & evening, sports cars on the forest roads as fast as they can go. Actually get some international drivers & such, it's part of a national series. Kinda hard to see much, we work as starters or finishers, do the paperwork for the cars. Spectators pose a liability issue, so only allowed in small sections... Hope I make it this year, got some family issues going on....
