Battery (6 volt) was dead, so I jumped it off my (12 volt) truck. Now one cylinder (the furthest rear cylinder) is not firing. The ignition wire is good. I plan to replace the plug and perhaps replace the cap & rotor tomorrow (no visible damage). Anything else that might be causing it?

Thanks in advance.

I"ve only jumped a few 6V with a 12V battery (really makes "em spin!!) so can"t comment on possible damage from that (no troubles in my cases).
The first question that comes to mind is: do you have spark at the plug? Did you swap plugs with a good cylinder to see if the cylinder fired with another plug?? If no spark at the plug, you might check where the wire goes into the cap for corrosion, and the same on that wires post inside the cap before you replace it. Good luck.
