Thanks for posting Let US Pray. From the responses you got from some it is obvious that this country need lots of prayers. On the positive side it seems lots of people on here agree with you. Just keep up the courage to share Christ with all that you encounter. The bible tells us that the prayers of many avails much. Let us all joined together in a prayer for the future of this country.

If you think of it stop for just a moment tomorrow (and everydayafter) at 12:00 pm Central Time and voice a prayer to God about the problems of this country and those that scorned God in the Let Us Pray post.

God is Real, God is Great, God is Every Where.
 
Please help me out if you can.

All the different options available for folks that want to pursue a religion can pick and chose. Look at all the different christian options. Isn't it true that the Catholic religion is the original Christian religion? Look at all the options we have now.

I would like all the different religions to sit down at a large table and decide who is right, is it the nnalert, Hindu, Mormon, Catholic, Protestants, Jews or is it simply what the Indians of our country used to and some still believe. I don't expect this to happen in my life time!
 
I don't mean to hi-jack your post, but I just have to ask you this: Does the Spudnut shop still exist in downtown Muleshoe? It's been close to 30 years since I set foot in that place.
 
are spudnuts even still made? Last I heard of them was 1962 in Rock Island IL. Never found'em anywhere else since.
 
There is only One Bible, all the different religions are man made. I always tell people that the religion they choose doesn't matter as long as it is based on Whole Bible.

As for the Catholics being the original Christian religion I cannot answer that question. I can only tell that I have read the Bible many times from Genesis to Revelations and I do not recall it mentioning that fact.
 
Nope it has been closed for years now. Main Street is pretty much deserted now days. All the businesses have out on US 84. Just a few local business still exist. Joe's Boot Shop moved to Clovis, NM. I do miss the Spudnut shop, it was a good place to go for beakfest and lunch.
 
The Romans under Emperior Constantine adopted Christianity and helped it spread. I don't know if that was Roman Catholic or not. Of course the Jewish religion goes back to Abraham.
 
Catholic religion started during the Roman empire, and that is a fact. So what happens to the Native Americans that pursued their faith?
Are the only ones that got saved are the ones who read the bible?
 
In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 16, Verses 13-18 (Holy Bible, King James Version, 1611) Jesus describes the foundation of His Church. The Catholics use this text to establish Peter as the first pope. My belief is the living Christ is the head of His Church and any other interpretations or claims are for the convenience of man.
Even the King James Version of the Bible was a translation of the Catholic Bible to English for the use of King James.
 
Douay version of the Bible is the official Catholic version, not King James. Seems that part of the real bible wasn't to the King's liking, so he threw out those parts.
