fence question

I'm building a new fence and one section is in very wet ground. I plan on using both wood posts and T- posts along with Barb wire. I was concerned about the wet soil and the post being strong enough. Should I bring in rock or dry dirt to pack into the holes or should I just pack the wet dirt back into the holes. Just looking for some opinions.

I bought some 8 1/2 ft. t-posts at a auction one time and use them in wet spots and ditches . Ya get that much post down in the ground they`ll standup .I hav`nt ever seen them in a store but I`d say someone could order them . The corners , brases and ends is the stength of your fence , the lines just gota hold it up . Even buried in a swamp they will rot off at the ground level 90 % of the time .

Is it just wet dirt or slop?

We have packed with pea gravel or crushed scoria (sp?) when faced with slop coming out of the post holes.
