Someone gave me a Belarus 250 that set for several years. I can't get either of the gear shift levers to move to engage. I removed the inspection cover for the clutch and it appears operational. Dont know if this is a common problem. Any suggestions from anyone?

There is a transmission interlock on it and I forget which side of the trans it is on.It is a small adjustable linkage and if not adjusted proprely or if the pin falls out you can not get the trans to shift or move at all.

If you haven't already, I suggest that you also post this on the 'orphans' and 'today's tractors' forums. Hopefully someone will give just the input that will help solve the problem.
