I have a 1975 international 454 diesel 3 cylinder tractor. I need to know how to bleed the injector pump and the fuel lines. Please help.

Stan:
The first thing I would do is fill the fuel tank to the brim. The extra weight of a full tank of fuel will help push fuel through the lines and make it much much easier to bleed the system.
Good luck.

First thing is to make sure your fuel filter(s) is full of diesel, then loosen lines at the injectors, spin the engine over till you get fuel coming out of where you loosened the lines tighten them up and you should be ready to go, keep a check on the starter make sure its not getting too hot while your doing this, if so let it cool a while.

After bleeding the fuel filters (in order, starting with the one nearest the fuel tank), loosen the fuel pump inlet line at the pump and bleed the air out, then loosen the injector lines at the injectors til you get a spurt of diesel from each as you turn the engine over.

WEAR SAFETY GLASSES that fuel is under a lot of pressure. dads hand got a pretty good cut from doing this a while back .hate to think what it would do to an eye
