For Dynahoes or other equipment with Borg-Warner gearboxes, try Minpar at minpar.com. Warner gear div. sold the licensing for these transmissions to minpar. I ordered parts to rebuild the foward-reverse unit in my Dynahoe and they had all the parts in stock! I thnk I have a model A. Anyone out ther know how to figure out the year and model by serial # ? Please e-mail me...thanks.

Need any other info on Dynahoes let me know am glad to help. Have A 160 and 190 Manuals. Found that a company by the name of Diverco supports parts for the Borg - Warner Three Speed Transmission. Hi Tom: Your Transmission was built by Warner Gear Division is it a 3 or 4 speed. Rebuild and parts kits still available through Diverco. Send me an Email so I can give you address and phone. I need help tracking down a set of side panels which say Hy-Dynamic that go over the hydraulic lines on the side of the machine. Any leads on were I might purchase some as used parts would be appreciated. Thanks Bob

Dynahoe never put together a service manual for a 190. I have to use the vendors manuals. I dont know about the 160.

I have a parts manual for the 190, but nothing more. I'd like to swap some copies, or make my parts man avail to you (or fax needed pages) if needed.

Anyone know how to split the crankshaft / U joint connection going to the pump for purposes of changing the belts? Do I need to move the pump forward? Uugh. Sorry to ask such a basic question if the answer is obvious.

Mike

remove the four pump brkt bolts from the frame, remove the bolts into the crank pully from the drive shaft, and hopefully slip the belt thru., with any luck you will have enough play in the hydraulic lines to move the pump far enough forword. thats the only way I know of to replace the belt...
PS: can anyone tell me where I can find a 190/2 service manual

My fan bearings were bad and instead of changinging the bearings and belts, I just removed the fan and installed an electirc fan off of an Olds Cutlass. Works great. No belts!!!

Hello, I am wondering if you recieved the copy of the service manual. Did it have info on the 4x4 model or just the two wheel drive. I have just purchased a 190-4 dynahoe, have no breaks, and believe a broken U-joint in the rear steering axle. Also, don"t really know a thing about the machine besides what the operators manual states, is very basic info. Any insight you would have in locating A service manual for my machine would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Thanks, Mike.

Hi Sharon: I have operators, and parts manuals for Models A, 160 and 190. Willing to share or copy information for cost. I need Hy-Dynamic cast side panels or names of any dealers that may have junked Dynahoe Machines. Pretty simple straight forward machine. Terex is dismally slow and not reliable on orders. Expect one month + delivery. Have names and dealers in New York if you need. Please Email me when you get a chance. Hope this helps! Bob
