International injection pump leak

It was spraying out the head by the small square, I took the head out and noticed crumbles on the bottom but the bottom gasket looks good so not sure if it was replaced and never cleaned out? The top o ring still looks OK so not sure if it's because it's old and hard and a new one should resolve it hopefully?

The crumbles are PART of the reason why I said the pump should be torn completely down on the IH forum. Those crumbles are from the failed head thrust washer.

His email is open in Classic, jhncp will need to swap over to Classic to see the send email button. Hopefully that system will be better with the new forum. Oops, now that I made this post and when back to the thread, it shows up in modern.

if you never worked on a pump you best heed n send to those who are in the know. ive been in them. lots of things are worn n settings change with wear.
your kidding yourself if you dont know where thrust washer goes.
