Just wondering if anyone knows what these parts would fit? Came out of the tool box of an old 830 2cyl. Possibly an old JD baler? Thanks - Bob

I would agree but overall they are only about 4 long

You mentioned baler- they do look like something for a hay dog.

Don't know why they are so short. But they will fit a JD rake.

They look like the springs for the arms that cover the row on my 1280 planter. There are 4 left and 4 right.

pickup teeth are not that thick and short. pickup teeth u can twist the coil by hand.

There was a spring like that on the foot pedal that worked the power lift of the old A & B 2 cylinder tractors also.

Look like hay dog tension springs for a JD 14T or 24T
