Well, I have good news. Titian-International generously donated two 11.2-38 tires to the project. We (my dad and I) drove to Mapleton, ND to pick them up today.

Very cool! Did you write a letter or email to
them? Nice to know of companies that care
about the young guy yet!

Have known for several years that Titan has been donating new tires to youngsters who are restoring old tractors as part of the FFA program.
It is great that they support our youth like this.

I have a 1940 JD B that a local school wanted as a project. They sent a set of rear tires for it. This was several years ago. Nice company.

Good for you Andrew! Thats a huge part of the cost of your restoration. Keep us updated on your progress

You are a lucky young man. We should all take that into consideration when we need tires.

I brought a 5th wheel camper with Carlisle and had two blowouts right away. I called them and told them. After taking
to them I found out Rockwood put too small a tires on the unit that was barely rated for the weight of the unit. They
sent me a set of four new tires that were rated for my unit at no charge. They were sitting in front of my garage a
couple days later.

That is the norm on pretty much every RV that is sold. The tire weight rating might barely meet the dry weight of the unit, and is massively overloaded when the RV has anything loaded for actual use. The axles aren't typically any better. The sales person will also just about tell you that you can pull that huge 5th wheel with a Prius to get the sale...

I hope someone from Titan is seeing this, I have had nothing but good luck with the tires on my 730, and they are made in U.S.A..............

Yes, Titian owns Goodyears farm tire division. Please do support them when you need new tires. They are very good to youth who are restoring tractors, like myself.
