The right wheel on my owatonna 900
windrower is not wanting to move right
now. All chains to wheel and pump are
connected. Does anyone know how to
diagnos the pump before I just start
replacing parts and dumping money into
it? Thank you very much in advance!

Friend bought a cheap one a few years ago for same reason, he found a sheared key, replaced with a new chunk of keystock and was in business.

Does it just lug down and not want to move

Since the w=heel is run with a chain did the wheel spin freely before the chain was put on. OR not or don't know. Just a thought maybe the wheel is not free to turn. From there a few possibilities are bad pump bad lines even bad motor. I would start with the simple cheap stuff first. Then if needed have motor tested or what ever it needs. I would think you could test just the motor with the chain off for rotation. Then also be able to spin the wheel for freeness. .
