No.2 bale ejector

So I believe I broke either my pawl hub or the ring clutch. What are the chances of finding replacement parts? And where?

What brand is a #2?? Have you checked with that brands dealer, most of them have parts books on their website for parts number and availability. Or are you looking for used parts? It would help to know where you are. Google Kelsam Salvage in Waterloo, Ia. I have their number, but it's out in the shop. You could try Bowie Equipment in Tipton, Ia.,563-886-6946. Has to be other places that sell used parts. More information would get better responses. Chris

Not sure your location. I used to have a couple of them to rob parts off. Any used equipment dealers
who repair and sell JD balers might have some. In our area of SE PA throwers get removed when the
baler is resold to Amish, so they are available. I installed a no. 30 kicker on my 24T eventually, when I
found one reasonably priced. That is the best solution as a no. 2 basically beats itself to pieces.

looking in the parts list, there is a serial number break.
Parts do seem obsolete from Deere, but the Vintage Parts has a Pawl Trip in stock and the Ring Clutch in stock. Do some research and verify serial number and part numbers.

Where are you located? I have a couple of #2's that I don't necessarily want to part out, but in reality will never use.

I'd sell one or both VERY reasonably.
