This machine travelled the East Coast Main line at night doing track weed control between London and Edinburgh. It had to be off the rails, early in the morning before the first Intercity 125 came through. There was a lookout on the back to warn the driver, think if it had been me, the warning the driver would have received is me, running past the cab!!!! There were six computers on board controlling the spray mechanism and I designed the in-cab control panel and built it.
