With your meager finances just stand on the street corner with a cup until sufficient finances for a replacement.

Might try heating and bending then building it up, but I wouldn't, and neither would you LOL. I really think you've got your money's worth out of it and pay the high price for a new one. I just paid around 35.00 each for new cub cadet blades. Course yu could weld a handle on it and use it as a hoe in the garden.

George, A funny but true story.
I hooked a blade under something about 15 years ago and bent it very badly.
Th blade was not worn much and I was going to save it no matter what.
No one was around to help me and about that time a friend that we let keep animals on our place came by.
She was about 23 at that time and I asked would she help me.
I did not want her holding the blade while I hammered it on the anvil.
So I wrapped it in layers of cloth and held it while she swung the sledge hammer.
Took a while, but we got it done.
My hands were fine, but she could not feel her hands for about 3 days.
We still laugh about that.

I did.
The ears wore down and were not throwing the grass clippings into the bagger.
I welded bigger ears on. Worked really well until I hit a stump.

i dont think people realize the dangers of them garbage remodeled blades. what if a piece flew out and hit your kid.

Maybe. I know you are frugal, but if you value the lives of your friends, family or even neighbors you may not even like, you will replace them. Too much potential to injure an innocent bystander.

Must be a Toro blade. The blades on my mower got to looking like that after less than 20 hours use and I was very careful not to hit anything. .
