How is out Louisiana folks this morning , looks like there was a lot of storms in south land .

One dead several injured.
Tornado had a long path but it skipped along going up and down.
While its only been daylight a few hours they are saying 40 to 50 homes damaged.
Some are just a slab.
Hit hardest in St Benard parish east of New Orleans.
The same area that was devastated in Katrina.

Other than that it was not as bad as they predicted.
I live about 40 miles northwest of New Orleans.
Had about an hour of rain and 20 to 30 mph winds.

I was tracking that one on radar & was wondering if you were ok. Glad to hear you are. Seen lots of footage from that twister & it made quite the mess. My best to those affected.

We got about the same 1 1/2 inches of rain and some wind and lightning. Nothing we havent seen many times.of course no one wants to see or experience a tornado! I am in south central Louisiana
