How do I PUT A PIC ON MY PHONE ON HERE??

hAVE A TRACTOR THAT I want to show a pic of a part on the Oliver forum..Would someone be so kind and walk me thru the process. The pic is on my phone..thank you
 
I email the picture from my phone to one of my e mail accounts then download them save and post to forum from there

MNGB----I don't have clue one of what you are explaining--at 77 just not that sharp on this stuff. Looking for someone who can lay it out 1-2-3-4 whatever. Thanks for taking the time...
 
Your phone should have some sort of gallery to store the pics you take. When you post here, there is an option to post pics/video. If you click that rectangular button it will prompt you to tell it where the pic is stored. In the case of my Samsung I can go to the gallery, click on the pic I want and when it attaches it will tell you. Then review and post ad you would normally.

Not sure if you are a new site user. If so, you got to post about 5 or 6 times, to be able to post a pic. Some sort of spam filter the site has set up.

Otherwise, I think the site may have size requirements on pics to be posted (to big, it won't post).

I think there is a way to post a messagec, then click on add photo while doing it, and then take the pic with your phone directly. I've never done it, but seems I have seen that option there.
 
We don't know what phone you have.
And we don't know if you are wanting to post the picture directly from your phone or from your computer.
Which way do you normally post a picture from?
I am guessing from your computer.
If yes, open and look at the picture on your phone.
Look at the clickable icons around the border.
Look for SHARE or SEND going further into either should allow you to email it to yourself.

Then go to your email via your computer and download the pic into your picture files and then you can continue posting it here and elsewhere.
 
IF you use modern view it's easy. Just scroll down to the bottom and there's a section called "upload videos/photos." Tap on the Upload button, choose your picture, and it uploads automatically.

On Classic view, God only knows how you do it.

Finally, if that's too tough, get a grandkid to do it for you.
 
What kind of phone Apple or Android?

Edit: Barnyards instructions should have said ..Choose files.. button not upload. And I post from an iPhone and once you click that you can take a picture or make the choice to choose from your ..Photo library.. On a iPhone you tap the photo you want they get a check mark in the corner. Then you click the ..Add.. button at the top. Your picture should show up in the preview window then. I would also have to think an Android would be very similar. Maybe on those when you choose your photos it may not check mark the corner but maybe put a different border around it to show which pictures are selected.

My phone is a phone from my work--yes still working at 77. It is a KYOCERA. I can send a pic to anyone that I have a phone number for. how do I tell if Apple or Android?????????
 
Well never thought of this angle, is it a Smart phone so you can get on the internet with it. If it is flip phone.. or dumb phone everything we have been telling you is a bunch of beans, at least up to a point. That brand of phone would be an Android if it is a smart phone. An iPhone has the Apple logo deal on the back.
 
On an android hit choose files under the upload button at the bottom. My phone will then give two options. Camera or Choose file. Hit choose file. Tap the one you want and don't do anything else until it says file uploaded. Never hit the upload button!

I have an I phone. Scroll down to Upload Photos/Videos, tap choose files, photo library comes up,press that. Your pictures come up, choose picture, go to the bottom of the right of the page and click, choose medium for file size. Go to top right corner and click again and then click add and it loads your photos.

From looking online, it looks like KYOCERA may be an Android (not an Apple iPhone).

SO if it is a smart phone and not a flip phone, then follow Android instructions that some have given you, below.

If you can do all the steps... BUT your pic will not upload - it may be that the file size of the photo is too large (too many pixels)... and then the file size has to be reduced in order for it to upload on YT.
I do it by taking long shot pics... then cropping them using my phone's editing software, and then posting the cropped photo.
 
Its pretty well hidden, look at this screen shot and if you can find the choose files button shown, it should bring you to where the photos are stored on your phone. Good luck. Gerrit
