This 1939 H Farmall is coming up on auction in a week or two at Kobza's online auction in David City, NE.

The serial number is 2702, and H serial numbers started at 500, so it's the 2202nd H built out of a total of some 395,000.

I'm not interested, myself, I already have three H's, but I thought I'd throw it out there. If anyone would be interested, the auction number is 9336.

A little over 10k were built that year. So serial number places it roughly 1/5th of the way through that year.

Weve got 5039 here thats been in the family sense grandpa bought it in 1954. Always thought it was neat as it was the lowest serial number H that Ive ever seen in real life.

Dad had an H with pipe loader in the 50's. I spent a lot of seat time on that tractor. Used loader to feed cows from pit silo. I remember it had Armstrong power steering, very cold metal seat in the winter, very slow hydraulics, and a trip bucket. Better than using a fork and doing it by hand..
