Maybe Johny Cash had a hand in this one!

I have a Farmall Super C that I am putting together. Something just does not look right. The previous owner had drilled some extra holes in the gas tank mount were it bolts to the hydraulic unit. And some extra holes in the rear hood mount/front tank mount. Something tells me that my 1953 serial tractor is not all 1953? Or maybe not all Farmall C? Guess I will have to use the extra holes after all. I noticed that the model emblem on the hood just says C, Not Super C. I think I did a good job of tucking the 10SI in there. I will straighten the radiator cover before I bolt it all together.

. Focus on the hand crank holes in the grills. The Super C grill is an inch or two taller than the C grill. Compare the gap under the gas tanks, Super C tank is an inch or two taller.

One way to distinguish between a C and a Super C is the brake and clutch pedals. Those on the C are straight and those on the Super C are curved. Hope this helps.

Yes, I can see what you mean just by looking at the hand crank holes in the two pictures on this post. The hole in your Super C is about 1 1/2 below where the first slot is in the grill and mine is right in the first slot. My tractor has a water pump and disc brakes. Maybe a tree fell on it sometime in the past. Then someone put C sheet metal on it. The radiators must have to be a different height as well.

The upper radiator bracket is different too. Think I have one of each, might take a picture of them later today.

Think I sold the one for the C, both of these are for a Super C. The difference is the pieces on the ends.
