Sold The Twins today, my two 51 8Ns to my neighbor in CO. Both run but havent since I bought the J/D 5203. Hes building a rat rod style flatbed duelly, 50s Chevy and wanted a tractor to haul on it to the local car shows. I threw in 3 parts tractors on blocks and the last of my parts. May end up missing them but I wasnt using them. Adios 8Ns.

Remember them as being good contributors to your success. They are being loved and that is good for their soul. Jim

I understand downsizing, but the 8N I still use was my Dad's first tractor.
Been in the family since new.
I was dragging logs with it the other day.
It will be passed down to one of my son's that already wants it.
I hope to use it 20 more years myself.

I may regret it, this is my 6 volt one, the 12volt conversion project is in the garage behind. Seller said both were 52s but was selling for an elderly friend. Drove from AZ to Vevay, IN to find out later they were 51s. You know why I hoped they were 52s. I was a rookie at 8Ns and took his word.
