Runs but hard to start.

I have thomas bilt tractor hard to start it appears due to hydraulics.could this be filter, oil,damaged pump. Help wanted thanks.

More info may help get you a suggestion of two. What engine? Electric start? What type hydraulics, hydrostatic drive or just a pump to supply such as steering and implements? Does it start hardcore or hot? Describe what you mean when you say hard to start.

Have you checked to see that all hydraulic valves are centering so they are not loading the hydraulic pump during engine starting?

Runs but hard to start.
