I got new gauges for one of the Olivers. This is where the light wire attaches, cant figure this out.

The hole that the wire goes through is small enough that it wont push down flush. It just sets on it loosely. Without the wire, it fits snuggly on the stud. Lots of electrical tape???

I just grabbed a short piece of wire to demonstrate, the wires on the tractor are bigger than this wire.

Take the insulation off of the wire just past the pinch screw to the right in the image. Fan the wire strands so they are thinner at the side of the stud. Then put a dab of liquid tape on the point of exit.
Or drill a hole in the side of the rubber and insert the wire with it pushed into the stud hole and tightened through the end hole. Then a dab of liquid tape on both holes. It appears to be a poorly thought design. Jim

You just have to trim some more of the insulation off, about to where the square starts by the set screw. Reduce the bulk, and the rubber will slide down over it.
