I just finished bawling a late field of
grass/alfalfa.Custom job.It was pretty
poor only 45bales on 9 acres. Some was
just like lawn clippings. At one point ai
baled 5 windrows to get one bale.Only an
inline could have bales this stuff. All
the bales were of good quality and
comsistent.The longer I own this
thing(Casein 8530) the more impressed I
am with it.It has also baled probably
50,000 bales or more without a miss.

I baled some with my international 440 that I raked ten rows together to get enough to make a row . Cut 20 acres to get 200 bales

That was pretty normal for fields this year in my area. The fields stopped growing around 8 inches tall. Had some rain and 3 irrigation waterings. Bummer when you grab a flake of hay and it falls apart because the grass is so short. Finally got my inline working this year after 3 years of chasing problems. Punched out nice tight bales.

You have to work hard to make hay.
Around my hood guy gets $4 for a bale of hay.
What's is in your Hood?
