Australian?

Saw a strange Ferguson at a show, different from any I had seen before, and it was a gold belly.

Owner said it was from Australia if I recall correctly.

British FE35, came after the grey TE and TO but before the MF35. One of the worst starting diesel tractors ever made according to some, with the 4 cylinder Standard Motor Company diesel. Should have had a glow plug on every cylinder but just had one in the inlet manifold.

Known as the Gold Belly to some and unprintable names to others. ;0)

The petrol and petrol/kerosene versions were fine tractors but over here, we were going mainly diesel at the time. The diesel reputation did not improve until MF fitted a Perkins version of the three cylinder engine fitted to the Fordson Dexta.
