Not a good time to make hay in my neighborhood.

I'm running out of things to do on rainy days. Changed oil in GMC truck.
My have to change oil on old Buick tomorrow after I get another oil filter.

I'm on the other side of that coin. My rainy day list keeps getting longer and longer because we've had almost nothing.

I was just watching the forecast on the noon news. It slacks off to a 20% chance here by next Saturday. Looks like the drought is over for now. I'm sure by the end of July we'll be crying for it again. No sub soil moisture, so the ground is going to take it up like a sponge.

Geoege, Actually just finished mowing the lawn I prefer to do that on Fridays and caught a brief window when it was just dry enough yayyyyyyyyyy Yesterday I changed oil in the car and tomorrow perhaps a trip to Menards for some minor electrical supplies then its the weekend with church and maybe a Sunday drive then it starts all over again, life is good

the river just went down and now were forecasted up to 4 inches by Tuesday. It fair week here so at least one day we will got a big storm. Last week I finished my 1st cutting and got all my corn nitrated.

My area is getting bone dry, deep cracks in the fields, crop has shut down just wilting over the day. No dew, we always have dew here.

Left hay lay an extra day, still didnt rain.

It appears some very heavy rain is coming through the center of the country, very much extra.

My area keeps getting a forcast of a shower 50-50 in 2-3 days, but it fades to nothing when the time comes. Done that for 2 weeks now, was dry before that.

They have a little 30-40% chance of rain more days than not in the forecast, but has not materialized so far dont really expect it any more.

This is starting to look like 2012 or 1988 here, we are a wet place, this is getting extreme for us. Drops are holding on but the cliff of death is getting closer.

The big rains predicted for N. Ill. got me .7 inches Sunday night, got Chicago some tornadoes. Last nights storm was less than .2. The black clouds are rolling past today but not much juice falling out.
Last week was the first time mowing lawn in a month and the dust was a real choker.

We are just getting our first shower here now. It could rain 3 inches over the next few days with no ponding and nothing reaching the drains it's so dry here.

My forecast do not go out to 15 days but for the next 7 days they call for rain. Yesterdays rain might have been all of .5/10 of an inch and last nights/today 4/10 of an inch. Sun is out right now

It started about 7:30 this morning, kept up straight until 4:45. I just checked the gauge. A hair over 2 inches. That's over and above .6 yesterday. Next 2 days are supposed to be the same as today. One forecast model had been for over 6 inches by the time it ends in a week. I laughed, but it just might happen if this keeps up. It sure smelled good when I rode the 4 wheeler out in the pasture to check cattle.

I don't have a smart phone. I use Tracfone and it costs me all of $19.99 every 3 months. I do have a thing on the computer but it only goes out maybe 10 days
