Update on painting cab top

Recently I painted the top of Kubota cab white and used

Cheap carpet pad to add a little more insulation.
I mowed with it around noon. Had fan on low

I was a cool Happy camper. I always wanted an AC mower. No more sweating, dust and allergies from grass mold.

White top worked.
 
Next thing you need are visors or louvers on the windows to keep sunlight/heat out when working at lower sun angles.

Or, call it a day by 2:00 or before (as you did)!
 
My cab roof has a sky light, so when you raise the loader to the extreme height, you can see the bucket through the roof. I never needed it. But I dont want to paint it over either. So my solution is going to be to stretch a sheet of white plastic over the roof , and fasten it on there with duct tape. Worth a try !
 

Saw someone this week that painted their trailer with that white pickup bed coating. Looked good to me. Left a heavy coat on it. I think it would be good for the top for sure and may be more scratch and dent proof that paint used on the sides.
