Never saw one with 4 fuel ports.

This is something new I've never seen before.
One is never too old to learn. Just too old to remember.
If GP's pic had 3 places to connect fuel lines and vacuum lines to it would have been more helpful. Instead everything was removed and gas lines were going elsewhere.

What engine was in the pic?

Have you worked on new-ish Kohlers? Some of the CH series had square, metal fuel pumps. There's one on my 3225 Cub Cadet.

My newest is a 20 hp Kohler command 2004 with a round pump.
Matter of fact all my air cooled engines

Are older. Some engines are around 30 years old. Guess I just take of things.
