have pulled panels off the dash and there is no neutral switch in the area around the neutral shift lever. The wires are nearly impossible to follow. Thanks(reply to post at 15:25:38 01/25/21)
It is a manual transmission but I'm sure the neutral switch is not associated with the shift linkage. The tractor will start with both shifter levers in gear, hi/low. There is a forward/reverse lever on the steering column that is associated to the neutral switch. There is not a neutral switch above the floorboards.(reply to post at 16:26:10 01/25/21)
(quoted from post at 18:30:23 01/25/21) You say NO POWER at the starter. You should have the battery cable at the starter with battery
voltage. I expect you are saying no power at the call for start wire, or solenoid wire. Make sure
the switch is not clutch pedal controlled under the floorboard.
(quoted from post at 16:26:10 01/25/21) What type transmission does it have? if it's a gear drive, it's probably screwed into the top cover, somewhere near the shifter.
If it's hydrostat, probably on the linkage somewhere.
There may be multiple switches, seat switch, clutch, PTO... Hard to say without seeing it.

From the drawing I found in the parts book I would lean towards the forward/reverse lever. Does the operator's manual say forward/reverse has to be in neutral to start?
