Made a few squares over the weekend. Breezy and temps in the low 70’s. Got more to do if another window opens...

In the pic, I’m taking a break from stacking...

We have a couple fields we could cut and bale. But work has us too busy. Hurricane zeta knocked over a lot of fences. Been fixing those. Still have a couple decks to do before Thanksgiving. Been 75° + last few days. Will be all week. Odd. Even for Alabama.

my next door neighbor round baled some hay Sunday. Saw him yesterday and asked if it was wrapped already. He grinned and said "no need- it was dry".
It tops my only memory of Dad baling hay in November, on the 5th back in the 60s. quite unusual.

Just because you posted a pic doesn't convince me that what you are really doing there is day dreaming about the "ladder type" conveyor that you want to get.

I remember bailing crimson clover the week after halloween, had a bout bales too wet for the barn so left them out on the wagon. Some days later the bales fermented. the cows and the bull pushed the fence over next to the wagon and got into the bales. Nothing funnier than drunk cows. The bull was so drunk he fell over and just layed there. You could kick him in the butt and he would just moan.

Noticed at least a handful of guys baling (mostly rounds, two guys doing squares) in northern Huntingdon county PA on Monday 11/9. Not exactly sure what they were baling however. It may have been oats or rye that went in once the winter wheat was combined off. Any way, its a complete bonus.

Ha ha - I could have been doing both, stacking and dreaming!
