my guess is J.I.Case VA series, looks to me with the rear tires and rim structure maybe a VAI. The seat assembly, the 3pt lift arms,
the pto lever, the hood and latch look identical to my 1950 VAC. Not sure if VAI's had a pto or not. Good luck with your basket

hank-you, that is what I've been told is the rear wheels and the front end or the biggest difference, and that a lot of the parts will interchange but not all will.

Welcome to YT!! I guess I'll be the askhole and come right out and say it.I hope you didn't pay much for it , looks like all you have is a skeleton. That has money pit written all over it!!! Trust me, you can buy a running one cheaper than you can buy used parts and put it all back together. Find a runner and save what you have there for parts!!! Chris

totally agree , u have a parts unit and at that no engine parts other than a block as it was stuck in there to make it look like a tractor. not even a crank in the block! why did you buy it?

DONT LET PEOPLE DISCOURAGE YOU YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE IT RUNNING TOMORROW LIKE JOHNNY CASH SAID ONE PIECE AT A TIME AND
IWISH YOU THE BEST SOMETIMES YOU GET A LOT OF PLEASURE FINDING THAT ONE PART AND THERE ARE MANY GREAT PEOPLE HERE TO
HELP YOU ON YOUR NEW ADVENTURE

I don't know where you are located, but I'm in Va. My grandson has one at my place in pcs, with lots new parts, and willing to sell, but we are probably far apart.

I think I posted on another page and said 1949 and after VAI,, closer looking at the front axle says its a 53-55 model Well worth saving

Good running tractors don't often get cannibalized like that, do you know the reason it was used for parts?

There are 3 pictures of a nicely restored Case VAI on Tractor Data. Start by looking up the VA. It will show listing of variants of
the VA. Click on VAI and info will come up.
