We have lost another good one.

Tom Kelley, CEO of Gage Brothers of SouixFalls, South Dakota passed away yesterday morning. A great guy leaving his wife Julie and three children and all of us who knew him way too early at 62. Massive heart attack. Rest in peace,Tom

I was there once at Gage Bro Concrete, it's right along I-29,on the east side, when i bought my Fence line feed bunks, i went there to get a price and look.I ended getting them out of Huron. Was he a tractor enthusiast too? Nobody like to lose a friend!

Back in 1998 our high school Science Club traveled 150 miles to tour Gage Brothers Concrete and a few other places in the Sioux Falls area. It was pretty cool to see how they pre-stressed various pieces and how they could grind or power-wash different textures onto concrete surfaces. It was something totally new for a teenager to see. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

No, Tom was not into tractor collecting but he traveled all over the world learning and teaching the art of prefabing concrete. There is a lot of videos about the business and the plant in his obit. An extremely interesting gentleman. You can google SouixFalls obit/Tom Kelley. He also served several terms on the board of Sanford health systems which some people in the upper midwest will be familiar with.Tom and Julie have a winter home near us in Arizona and we met as neighbors.

It is too bad he died so young, never got to enjoy retirement, he sounded like a interesting man.I am truly sorry about the loss!
