Wheel color on Massey Harris 101 Junior?

I don't plan on painting the whole tractor, but I have to replace the front wheels. I think the pair I have were on a Allis. Anyway when I steamed them off most of the paint came off. Was there a paint code or something for the color of the Massey wheels? The back ones are OK but faded.

I don't know the code, but the paint colour was called Straw Yellow. Later models had a little darker shade.

when I painted my 101 Super several years ago the Massey Ferguson Dealer still had the paint, The red was the same red as the Massey Ferguson Tractor, don't know what the have now. Gene

Many years ago I knew a MH collector who had a large number of MH tractors. He told me that he used Tremclad Yellow ..... a easily-obtained oil base machinery enamel (they call it rust paint too) up here in Canada that you could buy almost anywhere. Was it the equivalent of an autobody quality paint using hardeners and UV protection, certainly not. It would be similar to Rustoleum or Krylon or any of those paints you can buy at the corner hardware store or lumber yard. But he used it and claimed it was exactly spot on to the original Massey Harris "straw yellow" or whatever MH used for a name.

A cousin of my dad's had a 101 Sr. when I was a kid, and as I recall the wheels were yellow.

I spent a lot of time on it when I was 12-15 years old.
