Could well be stock. A friend who used to work at Cornell in the orchard/vineyard area was interested in a used tractor they had for sale. It looked much like that. It had some problem, I think in the PTO drive, and JD here couldn't even look up parts for it! It's interesting how machines are supposed to only be placed in certain areas of the world, but a few always escape!

Front grille and rear fenders don't look stock, but it may be a specialty orchard
model or something....

I have a friend that was at one time a Zetor dealer.
He had a trip to the Zetor factory, and said the day
he was their the tractors coming down the line were
Zetor tractors, painted and badged John Deere.
And they were both two and four wheel drive
models. I think he said they were to be shipped to
India. Definitely not for sale in North America.

It might not even be a John Deere product originally, just one painted and decal-ed to look like a Deere. I am not all-knowing about the company's use of other manufacturers around the world to build licensed products, perhaps this was such a tractor. Or, someone had enough paint and time to make it appear like this. It sure doesn't look anything like any 1020 I've seen around here.
