I posted a while back about our busted up Deutz Fahr tedder, and I was wondering about a good tedder to buy to replace it. I don't remember giving an update. Well dad found parts from somewhere down south. The two star hubs we needed were 400 a piece. He bought them, and they are from a Deutz. Not a Deutz Fahr. Much heavier duty. It's back together and was used for the first time yesterday.

I have a duetz farr tedder, old but it gets the job done.

I cut about an acre sunday, baled it today, baler dident miss a knott! Wait for more good weather then ill get back at it.

(quoted from post at 18:03:48 06/10/20) What's the purpose of the yellow pipe frame and gates on the chute of the baler?

That is to keep little kids from getting at the kicker and getting launched into the wagon.

Just safty so you dont get hit by the bale thrower. I was gonna cut the pipe off so i dont have to go under or over everytime i hook up a wagon, but i left it alone.

Looked like safety yellow so figured so but had to ask. If the little kids dont get kicked into the wagon 1 time, how will they ever learn?

My cages were gone on both balers. I had a set but sold them. They make pulling a bale off to check weight, length and tightness impossible. For safety, turn the PTO off. Lock the trip mechanism off.
